Spring Dress Season

image description

We’ve officially reached the start of Spring (although Kansas weather is still deciding if it’s ready to embrace the new season or not) which means I’m already itching to bust out my warm-weather outfits. One of my favorite items for warm weather is a cute dress, such an easy way to look cute with minimal effort. I lucked out a couple of months ago and found the same adorable dress in two different colors at Goodwill in Newton for $7.99 each.

I’m pretty sure there is a meme going around that goes something like, “If I like something, I’ll just buy it in another color,” which could not be more accurate for me. I’ve been known to buy the same sweatpants in multiple colors just because I want to be comfy and cozy in every color! You rarely find duplicate items at Goodwill, so I was DELIGHTED to find a dress I liked in pastel yellow and dusty pink. These are not typically colors I gravitate towards, but I decided to try them out and ended up loving them both!

What drew me to the dresses was the pretty eyelet design. It looks lacy, but the material is soft and comfortable which is a must for me!  I also love the fit and flare style because it feels fun and flirty. Both dresses are also lined with a soft under slip which maximizes the comfort factor. I styled them with a pretty, nude, strappy sandal but I think both would be cute with a denim jacket and white sneakers as well. There are a lot of options for styling, and I’m excited to keep playing around with it to make multiple outfits with these dresses! So whether you are looking for a fun outfit for spring or maybe a pretty dress for Easter, check out your local Goodwill to see what you can find! Happy Hunting!
