A partnership between Goodwill and WSU Tech, NexStep Alliance provides the opportunity to earn a GED with the option to take college level classes and pursue a professional certificate, all on one campus. In addition, NexStep offers English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, Adult Basic Literacy, One-on-One Tutoring, Study Skills Training, Career Exploration, Work Readiness and College Transition Assistance.

  • Affordable – only $50 materials fee per school year
  • Open enrollment several times a year
  • Free access to online learning system
  • Instructor-led classroom-based program
  • All day access to state-of-the-art learning facility including computers, tutors and instructors
  • GED test fee assistance for those who qualify
  • College tuition assistance for those who qualify
  • Free career exploration, resume reviews, college advising and college financial aid assistance
  • Additional resources available to help remove barriers to success
  • On-site Pearson Vue GED Testing Center

  • Choose a Location & Schedule

    Main Campus

    • 9:00am – 12:00pm Mon.-Thurs.
    • 6:00pm – 9:00pm Mon.-Thurs.

    Satellite Campus at WSU Tech City Center

    • 6:00pm – 9:00pm Mon.-Thurs.
  • Attend Open Enrollment
    • Fill out forms
    • Schedule Placement Exam – Don’t stress! This helps us know where your studies should start.
    • Under 18: Bring disclaimer from compulsory attendance and a parent or legal guardian.
    • 18 or older: Bring valid photo ID.
