Donating and shopping at Goodwill extends the life of usable items. We also find innovative ways to repurpose and recycle unsold items — a process that creates jobs for Kansans who need them. In 2023, we kept millions of pounds out of landfills.
More Than a Thrift Store
Many know Goodwill as a thrift store, but we’re so much more than that. We provide opportunities for Kansans with disabilities and barriers to employment seeking independent and productive lives.
When you donate and shop at Goodwill, you help fund:
- GED, ESL and career certification classes for Kansans on the path to a better life
- Skills training and job placements for people with disabilities
- Digital literacy training to help people gain family-sustaining employment
