I love a good dress-up moment, but lately, my weekend wardrobe has been a much more casual affair. However, if there is one thing about me it is that I will find any excuse to be “extra”, including adding a little something to those casual weekend looks. Aesthetically I love a crisp white wardrobe; practically though, I realize that I’m a bit of a walking disaster, so for me, white clothing is a no-go (never met a salsa I haven’t spilled on my shirt lol). White shoes however are a good way for me to get that little outfit pop with less hazard. Recently I’ve found a couple of great pairs at Goodwill that I’ve been loving!
Elevated Casual
Converse for me has been some of the longest-lasting shoes I’ve owned, so I was stoked when I stumbled across a crisp white pair of Chuck Taylor All-Star Lift Platform sneakers in practically new condition. The shoes didn’t even look like they had been worn yet and they are so comfortable and cute! The price on these was a little higher than most shoes at Goodwill are at $14.99, however, a quick search online showed me that these babies normally retail for $70 brand new which made them well worth the $14.99 price tag at Goodwill in Andover.
Sparkly Sneaks Another like-new pair of shoes that I found at Goodwill in Andover was this bedazzled Torrid pair for $7.99! As with my Converse, I took a quick look at Torrid’s website to see what the original price could have been and most of their sneakers run at about $65! I couldn’t believe my luck because these also had clearly not been worn when I bought them. What I like most about them is that the sparkle detail isn’t too over the top, it gives just a hint of glam that I think fits my personality perfectly.
