There’s a chill in the air, leaves on the ground and Thanksgiving is right around the corner! This month, I found some great looks for November at my local Goodwill, and I can’t wait to share them with you all.
The first look I put together with some dark wash skinny jeans from the GAP, a long knit cream colored sweater, some leather riding boots, and a cute, purple, cashmere beret. I love pairing longer sweaters with skinny jeans, because not only is it nice and comfy, the two together have a nice slimming effect. The brown boots were a steal at $12 – and in almost perfect condition. And the beret made me extra happy at just $.99!
As an added bonus for those extra cold days, I found a warm heavy knit jacket in almost the same shade purple as the beret. And P.S. – if you need a nice jacket and don’t want to spend $30-$50, shop Goodwill first! The purple one I found was only $9.99, and it was originally a Target brand that I’m sure would have cost at least $30 off the rack.
My next November look was probably my favorite. I’ll admit – it’s still a bit summery, but the warm fall colors help me get away with it – and it’s so darn cute I think I would wear it all year long! This cute cream and mustard color sundress was just $5.99! I found an amber necklace that matched the dress perfectly and paired it with some dark brown pumps. This whole look cost me less than $15!
For the final look, I wanted to work in some current trends. Pin stripe jackets are “in” according to all the fashion blogs, and this one that I found was such a nice fit! I paired it with a cream sweater that had a romantic fringe embellishment on the back, and some mustard colored skinny dress pants. I like the contrast of the suit colors against the pants – but if your taste is a little tamer, you can pair a great jacket like this with jeans, khaki or black dress pants or skirt. This look also came in at just around $15.
Happy Thanksgiving friends! And happy shopping!
