Merry Matching Outfits from Goodwill

Hello, Goodwill friends! I hope you are enjoying the fun of the Christmas season and planning lasting memories with the people you love.

One tradition my husband and I have kept since we were married is to make our own Christmas cards to send out. Over the years, we’ve done silly, pretty and everything in between. For our family picture this year, I thought it would be fun to buy all of our outfits at Goodwill. So, my challenge was to dress all of my family for a coordinated holiday picture, all while saving money by shopping at Goodwill.

I started with the kids’ outfits and found a lot of different options as I shopped the aisles. We decided to go with shades of red, green and gray. I found a great boy’s Cat and Jack sweater for my oldest, Charlie. For the girls, I scored red turtlenecks and even found two matching headbands with their original tags and packaging. My youngest son, Henry, looked pretty dapper in his white sweater, which we paired with a red checkered dress shirt and jeans.

For myself, I found a cozy, soft green turtleneck that matched the shade of green in Charlie’s sweater. I paired it with a cute scarf to break up the solid color. For Caleb, I went with a Ralph Lauren sweater and paired it with a red dress shirt underneath.

I was excited to be able to buy all of our matching outfits for less than $30 total, leaving a few extra dollars saved for Christmas gifts!

From my family to yours, have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.  I’ll catch you in January for more great looks from your local Goodwill!
