I am Ukrainian by origin and had a successful career back in Ukraine as a veterinarian. At one point, I owned a veterinary pharmacy, which I eventually sold to one of my employees when it was time for a new chapter in life.
When Russia invaded Ukraine, I became very active in organizing fundraisers and supporting Ukrainian people in every way I could. That passion and dedication led me to the nonprofit world, where I discovered my calling in helping others rebuild their lives.
In 2020, just before the pandemic began, I moved to the United States with my husband and our two children. I then moved to Wichita a couple of years ago and started working for a non-profit.
Now, as I step into my new role at Goodwill Industries of Kansas Success Coach in partnership with Thrive Restaurant Group, I carry with me a deep commitment to walking alongside individuals as they navigate challenges. My goal is to help people overcome the barriers that prevent them from fully enjoying life. Whether those barriers are emotional, educational, or systemic, I want to create a safe and trustworthy space for growth and development. I believe that true transformation happens in environments where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
My motto is: “Stay curious, and dig deeper.”
That mindset reminds me of a story where people, desperate for water, were told to dig ditches in the dry land—despite no clouds in sight. It might have seemed pointless at the time, but when the rain finally came, those ditches were ready to hold the water. The lesson is simple: prepare, even when results aren’t immediately visible.
I believe we create our luck through effort, curiosity, and resilience. I might not always see what’s coming, but I prepare myself by investing in education, building connections, and never stopping learning. In my free time, I dive into classic literature and motivational books that help sharpen my mindset and fuel my passion for growth. Because for me, every step I take now is about shaping the future I want to build—not only for myself, but for those I serve.
