Celebrating 40 Years

Goodwill Industries of Kansas celebrated a significant milestone for one of our long-standing employees. In April 2023, Carman Carpenter, a processor at the Broadway Goodwill, celebrated her 40-year anniversary with the organization. To mark this remarkable achievement, Carman was honored with a special luncheon surrounded by family, friends and coworkers.

Throughout the past four decades, Carman has been a consistent face of the organization’s retail operations and has played a crucial role in its continued success. Carman has consistently demonstrated her commitment to Goodwill, and her unwavering dedication has been a shining example for all employees. “If you are a team and you work together, things go well. We are a team here. This is my family. I have two families, Goodwill and my regular family!” Carpenter said.

Carman was recognized by Goodwill leadership, and her contributions were celebrated by colleagues and peers. Goodwill Industries of Kansas is so grateful to have Carman as an employee. Her dedication inspires our community.
