Introducing Our 2026 Thriftfluencers

June 23, 2026

Our 2026 Thriftfluencers

Meet our 2026 Thriftfluencers! We were blown away by the creativity, passion, and excitement shared through this year’s submissions, and we’re thrilled to introduce our newest group of thrift enthusiasts. Each Thriftfluencer brings their own unique style, perspective, and love for secondhand finds. We can’t wait to share how they inspire others to embrace thrifting, shop sustainably, and find their own style through the treasures waiting to be discovered. Follow along on our Instagram and TikTok each month to see what they find!

“I love the thrill of the hunt that comes with thrifting. The excitement of never really knowing what finds await you. It’s like a treasure hunt every time! I never enjoyed shopping until I learned how to thrift. Thrifting is truly lifestyle for us now. My love of thrifting was birthed out of my dad’s love of it. In many ways, thrifting makes me feel connected to him, and to many people I love who are no longer on this side of life.

I am grateful that thrifting allows me to provide unique and high quality apparel & goods for our family at prices that also benefit our family.

We are a home educating family & raising our children to choose ethical and sustainable practices. Shopping second hand is a great way to teach, model, and practice these ethics as a family.

We have been able to fill our home with stories and treasures from all over the world with thrifting, and I love that. There is also a special community that you build the more you thrift. Strangers have become close friends frequenting the thrift & I think there’s something very special to be said about that. I am proud that our children already enjoy and see the value in choosing secondhand.”

“For me, thrifting has brought out a new side of my creativity. I love the possibility of being just one of a few who own a particular piece.

It is the thrill of the hunt, too! It is so exciting to find something you have been hoping for or something you did not even know you needed.

Thrifting started with my son. We would grab a fun drink and see where the day took us. My mom likes to come with us now, too. Our time thrifitng together makes it extra special.”

“Studying fashion at the University of Kentucky taught me just how wasteful the clothing industry really is. The only way I really felt like I could make a difference was by changing the way I shop. That’s why I love Goodwill so much. Plus, the thrill of the hunt is just as exhilarating as filling my closet with unique pieces I know I can’t find anywhere else!

My love of thrifting first began with my grandmother at yard sales, and then Goodwill! We used to scour the aisles for treasures and then brag about what we found and how cheap they were on the drive home. Each trip to Goodwill feels like still shopping with her all these years later.”

“I love showing people that a beautiful, sustainable home is within reach. Goodwill makes it possible, and the education programs they fund make it meaningful. That’s the kind of shopping I’m proud to share.”

“I love thrifting because I do not have a time machine. The best finds are always the ones you could never walk into a regular store and buy. Every trip is different, and honestly, the thrill of the hunt is addicting. Finding original pieces that feel straight from my 80s Rock ‘N’ Roll Pinterest board is what keeps me coming back. On top of that, I love giving unique items a second life and making more sustainable choices without sacrificing my personal edgy style. If you ever need me, I am lost trying to find the fuzziest jacket and the highest boots.”
