Digital literacy is critical for everything from daily tasks to finding employment. Goodwill’s computer skills training program helps bridge technology gaps, creating opportunities for Kansans and building a more marketable workforce.
The Learn IT Digital Skills Classroom brings professional-grade digital literacy skills training to adults in urban and rural Kansas communities. This mobile classroom features multiple computer stations, virtual technology, and a library of Google-based resources.
A Kansas community, business or event can request the Learn IT Digital Skills mobile classroom. The lab works with the host organization to coordinate the visit and set the curriculum.
During the onsite training, participants learn computer skills alongside a certified instructor.
Participants receive online access to continue their learning, using local referral services such as public libraries, schools/colleges and workforce centers.
Interested participants can receive one-on-one guidance, connecting them to the resources, certifications and education needed to launch an IT career.
