Hey, ya’ll! Daniele here, with the holidays over and the weather keeping us on our toes, it’s a great time to stay indoors and focus on creating spaces that make us happy! I had an empty wall that I stared at for far too long before I got some inspiration for what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted it to be elegant and warm, so I headed to Goodwill to pick up some treasures!
The first piece I picked up was this amazing mirror! I knew this statement piece was the perfect item for my vision and only $8.99, it was a total score! I could base the entire space around this gorgeous mirror; the star of the show!
Then, I headed to several more Goodwill’s to find pieces that complimented the mirror. Over several days and several locations I came up with the following pieces:
An amber vase, some faux flowers cut down to size, a miniature teapot with gold accents to match the mirror, and a unique wooden and glass tray to hold all of the items.
I added a gold vase to compliment the gold accents throughout and put up our wedding anniversary décor as a way to personalize the space. For less than $25.00, I achieved my goal of an elegant and warm space!
Remember, consistency and patience are key when finding treasures, try multiple Goodwill locations to create YOUR perfect space! Value the hunt!
