It’s Summer Dress Season!

image description

We’ve officially descended into the summer season, which is the time when I try to minimize the number of layers in my outfits in order to keep cool as the temperature climbs. The easiest way for me to look put together with the least amount of clothing is by breaking out my summer dresses. In the past I’ve found some pretty great maxi dresses at Goodwill, but this summer I’m also stocking up on shorter summer dresses as well.

The first dress I stumbled upon was only $6.99 at the Andover Goodwill location. What caught my eye was the pretty floral print (I especially liked the pops of color). When I pulled it off the rack, I also noticed that it had cute shoulder cut outs (my new motto: sun’s out, shoulders out) and a fun crisscross back detail. The shark bite hem of the dress also gave it a nice flow, making it a definite winner in my book.

The other dress I found still had its original $34.99 price tag and I snagged it for $6.99 (also at Andover). I immediately fell in love with the poppy red color and floral accents, but what I also like about this dress is that it has a lightweight fabric which makes it nice and breathable for the hot summer months. The cherry on top? POCKETS! I feel like this would be the perfect dress to wear to an outdoor concert (cute and practical)!

I love finding brand new or well cared for outfits at Goodwill, especially when they keep me stylish for summer! Happy Hunting!
