Hello, friends! And happy New Year to you all! 2020 is going to be a good year! I love when things feel full of possibility; full of chances to see things in a new way and learn.
With all those new resolutions and opportunities, it’s fun to have a wardrobe that matches. And what better place to find some beautiful new looks that motivate you than at Goodwill?!
This month, I just went shopping for pure fun! My husband and I had an afternoon date and he totally indulged me and let me take him shopping. I found some cute looks that really feel like “me” and I would love to share them with you!
First was this beautiful dark teal sweater by Hollister. IT IS SO COMFY! I love when I can find a chunky sweater that still breathes and doesn’t make you hot all day – and this one fit the bill. I paired it with dark wash jeggings and cute boots by Mossimo.
Next up is another great cozy sweater by American Eagle. The thread work on this sweater is part of what I love most about it. It incorporates threads of different thicknesses which gives it this easy-going texture that just feels like a Saturday morning at a coffee shop. I found some cute silver earrings and added one of my favorite wrist bracelets.
My last look is this cute olive bomber jacket that makes me feel way cooler than I am! I added a fitted tee underneath, and I love the play between the loose jacket and fitted undershirt. The color is a favorite of mine! It matches the color of my eyes, which is a great fashion trick to help your eyes sparkle just a little more.
Fashion is fun. It’s not who we are, but it is a great way to motivate and encourage ourselves and embrace who we are inside. So while you’re working on all those New Year’s resolutions, stop by Goodwill and find some fun looks to help you along your way!
And one last little message, this will be my last Goodwill blog, dear friends! After much thought and prayer, I’ve decided to pass on the honor to another in hopes to free up more time for family and pursuing a few passions I’ve tucked away for a while. Thank you all for the encouragement through the years AND for reading my blog!! I hope there have been helpful tips that have saved you a few dollars and made shopping fun.
