Breezy, Beautiful Summer Looks from Goodwill

image description

The beautiful, breezy days that whisper summertime inspired me as I shopped for these looks, but they are perfect for that triple digit heat too. I put together one romantic summer day dress, and a couple more modern looks as well. Check it out! Hopefully this gives you some inspiration to go out and put your own looks together! Happy summer, and happy Goodwill Shopping!

The “I might have Found this at World Market” look

This look actually started with a great pair of shorts that I found from the GAP – but quickly became about the top I found to match them! The tunic style cut is so flattering, and the bright colors are part of what I like best about it. Honestly, it’s not a top I would have usually been drawn to, but after I tried it on – I really loved it! The pants are super comfy rayon in solid black and compliment the black accents in the patterned top. This whole look cost me just over $8.

The “Beautiful, Breezy Romantic Summer” look

This outfit was probably my favorite of the group! I found this great sun dress on the rack and fell in love with the vintage crochet designs on the top. The open shoulder keeps it breezy and casual for summer, and the simplicity of the all-over cream color frees up the palate of the look for some fun colorful accessories. The cloth purse I found to finish the look really adds that extra pop of color and balances out the solid tone of the dress. The total cost for this look was just $11.

The “Summer in the City” look

I made myself step a little out of my comfort zone to put this outfit together – but I’m so glad I did! I started with those same great shorts from the GAP and paired them this time with a sheer tank. I wasn’t sure I would like the fit or flow of the tank, but I was really pleased with how the more fitted straps at the top of the blouse really balanced out the excess flow of the bottom. And my favorite find of this look was the shoes! I don’t usually buy the elastic wrap wedges – but these are not only cute, they are insanely comfortable! I love how adding a heel to shorts can really make the whole look feel a little more dressed up too. This look came to just $12.
