Spring Thrift Finds to Brighten Your Wardrobe

April showers bring May flowers – and sweet deals at your local Goodwill store!! Hello again friends and shoppers! I hope you’re enjoying this beautiful cooler weather and excited for all the life that comes with spring.

This month, I went to Goodwill to find some great trendy looks for Spring 2017, and I wasn’t disappointed! The world around us puts on all its prettiest colors for spring, so why shouldn’t we? Here are some of the great colorful looks I found this month for you!

Cap sleeve Floral Dress

This dress was one that I almost didn’t get. It was one of those pieces that looks much better on than it does on the hanger. I ended up grabbing it, because the colorful floral designs reminded me of some art pieces that I like, and it was so bright it just seemed to yell “Spring!” Once I tried it on, I loved the way it fit! Light and airy, flattering cap sleeves, and a great length for warmer spring days.

Maxi Knit Dress

This Maxi dress is originally from BCBG – and I love the tailored fit of their clothes! The pastels in this design are soft, but still bright and vibrant. And the knit material makes it just as comfortable as it is stylish!

Tropical Pink Blouse

I picked up this blouse because according to the fashion blogs – this color pink is an “it” color this Spring. Personally, I feel like whatever color you like to wear is your “it” color, but it is fun to try a new trend every once in a while. I like this blouse because it looks great with jeans but could easily pair with a dress skirt or pants for the office. The other great thing about this fun color is that it looks good on light and dark skin tones. Sometimes pinks are hard to wear if you are really fair skinned – but this one is deep and vibrant enough that it works all around.

My sweet Livi!

My daughter Livi is always my little shopping buddy at Goodwill! So, we had to show off some of her great finds as well! She found this great floral print rain coat – perfect for our rainy weather lately – and an adorable dark purple dress. (And P.S., if you’ve never shopped for kids clothes at Goodwill, START. The dresses I find at Goodwill for 2 and 3 dollars, are usually easily $30-$50 new.)

Have some fun putting together your Spring-y outfits this season! And if you find something great, be sure to share it on the Goodwill Industries of Kansas Facebook page! I would love to see some of your dazzling looks!!
