Tis the Season to Give: Help People With Disabilities & Other Barriers

DID YOU KNOW?
Goodwill is more than a store. Find out how we change lives. Then, support our cause.

OUR STORES ARE DESIGNED TO SUPPORT OUR MISSION.
A lot of folks might think that our stores are just places that sell used items to people who have low incomes. While we’re happy we can provide affordable goods, our stores do much more. When you donate and shop in our stores, more than 90 cents of every dollar earned goes toward the many programs and services we provide in our community. Despite this, there’s a long waiting list of people with disabilities who cannot participate, because we are at capacity. In order to sustain and grow these programs, we depend upon generous gifts from individuals and businesses.

EMILY COMPTON IS OUR CEO.
Like other nonprofits, Goodwill is managed by respected business leaders and a volunteer board of directors that provides guidance. Our CEO, Emily Compton, will celebrate 30 years with Goodwill in 2016, and our newly elected chair of the board, Joan Barrett, is a well known and highly regarded business leader as the president of KWCH 12/KSCW.

WE’RE CHANGING LIVES IN YOUR COMMUNITY.
People with disabilities and other barriers to employment gain purpose, pride and dignity through education and job training opportunities provided by Goodwill. YOU have the power to change lives immediately in our community by making a contribution to Goodwill. Donate today and make a difference! Please know that your tax-deductible gift, of any amount, will make a lasting difference that will extend well beyond this holiday season.
