Get ready to boogie on the Bayou! For nearly three decades, Goodwill Industries of Kansas has teamed up with the Wichita Chapter of the American Culinary Federation to send Wichitans on a trip to the Bayou during the official Wichita Riverfest event.
Local chefs prepare and serve thousands of delicious, authentic Cajun meals on Kennedy Plaza in front of Century II in downtown Wichita. Guests must present a festival button to enter and purchase meal tickets. Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and stay to enjoy live performances by funk/soul artist Charles Bradley and The Monophonics, who are described as playing "Psychedelic Soul,” their own brand of music.

MEAL: Enjoy traditional bayou dishes including chicken etoufee, red beans and sausage, shrimp gumbo with rice and bread pudding!
TICKETS: Meal: $8, Pudding: $3; Or $10 for both. Riverfest button required. Thursday, June 4, is Throwback Thursday - any button, past or current, will get you in to Riverfest!
